　　Personal Appearance: Looks Really Count

　　   There is a heated discussion on whether or not one's personal appearance should count in our daily life. Some will say looks are not everything, and beauty is but skin deep; others will not agree. They hold the opinion that good personal appearance will leave good impression on people, and beauty will make people pleasant. On this issue, my opinion is that personal appearance should count in our daily life.

　　   In job-hunting求职personal appearance is especially important. A good personal appearance will make the interviewer feel pleasant and have a good impression of the interviewee. To some jobs such as public relation associator, model, movie star, a beautiful face is essential. In those jobs, homely faces不好看的：缺乏吸引力的will make people sick.

　　   Personal appearance is also important in looking for a partner in marriage. When a girl in introduced to a boy by a go-between, the girl's beautiful face will to a great extent make the boy a prospective seeker; on the other hand, the boy will leave the girl alone after the meeting if the girl is ugly. Perhaps, this is the reason why boys and girls will try their best to make themselves have a good appearance before this kind of meeting.

　　   Personal appearance also plays an active role in many other aspects. From these we can conclude that in our daily life, personal appearance really counts.
